How can I stop my computer from kicking me off to configure windows updates???
I am a full time student and i take all my classes online. When I sign into my school program to take a text I am not allowed to log off then log back on, If I do I am kicked out of the exam or assignment and receive a grade of 0. Three times now I have been half way through a test and my computer (running on windows 7) has kicked me out of my program and the blue windows screen pops up saying configuring Windows updates __% complete... How can I stop this??? I thought maybe it was something as simple as restarting my computer before a sign on so that I can update anything before I start the test but it just seems to pick up these updates at random...

Control Panel -> Windows Updates -> Change Settings. I think you will see there a way to stop the updates being automatically installed :)Core i7 920 @ 2.66GHZ | ASUS P6T Mother Board | 6 gig DDR3 1600 RAM | 2x 500g SATA2 HDD | Integrated sound | Gainward Geforce 250gts "Deep Green" 1024MB PCI-E (latest drivers) | Windows 7 Home Premium x64 | Thermaltake 750watt Toughpower Power Supply | Thermaltake Armor+ MX case.
