I am attempting to modify the behavior of an RDP session clipboard when remoting into a windows 7 machine. Previous RDP functionality, prior to Windows 7 and Server 2008, allowed you to restrict the clipboard in a remote session to copy/paste functionality of text and images only. In order to actually transfer files across the clipboard you had to share your local drives to the session. Since moving to windows 7 and 2008 we have found that simply sharing the clipboard allows text/images/files, all. The need exists to allow pasting of text and images while prohibiting files, mirroring past behaviors. We have tried the obvious of preventing disk sharing by policy/registry but we are still able to transfer files. Are there any registry or policy level changes or perhaps .dll magic that will allow the desired behavior? Thanks, Krummer
