How can I give execute permission only to a batch file?
I have a batch file I created and dropped on a user's workstation on our network. I need for him to be able to execute it but don't want hiim to be able to read or view its text if he right clicks on it and chooses 'edit'. I tried just giving him execute access under advanced options and it didn't work. With 'read and execute' he can still view the batch file contents (which includes the admin password). Is there any way to have him not be able to see the contents of the batch file but still be able to execute it? The workstation is XP SP31 person needs an answerI do too
