How can I get my Multi-boot menu back after I reinstalled Vista in my first partition?
After installing Windows-7 something went wrong and my MBR dissapeared. I had several resets with a BSOD and then could not boot my pc anymore. Repair with the installation dvd was not possible. With a rescue-cd I managed to delete the first partition of my HDand after that to install Vista Home premium again on this partition. But now I like to reactivate the installation of Vista I made on another partition, so that I do not need to reinstall all the software. How do I get this installation back in my MBR? And the W7 installation?

Ivankooten,There are some built in commands named BCDedit and BCDboot that can help with that. They would be used from a CMD window. Or you can look up a program called EasyBCD that is easier to use. However, Please research how to use these things before you use them.
