How can I get Outlook 2003 and 2007 to leave a copy of a message on the server? I use Outlook 2003 and it keeps on pulling the messages off of my email account, which I want at least a copy to be left there so that I can access it from anywhere and not just one computer. Thank you. Also, I use Microsoft exchange server 2007, and that's the account where I would like a copy to stay so that emails are there when I try to access them remotely and when I accidentally leave Outlook/my computer on. -Ross1 person got this answerI do too

Hi Ross WA, The concept behind Exchange is asynchronizedinbox across all devices (PCs, Phones, PDAs...) and you do not have to enable leaving messages on the server when in an Exchangeenvironment. For more information on leaving messages on a mail server, you can visit the following link: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA011507931033.aspx Microsoft Answers does not provide support for Microsoft Exchange, although you can post a question in the TechNet Forums here:http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrclients/threads I'd also recommend contacting whoever manages your Exchange server as they will know your specific Exchange setup best. I hope this information helps and thanks for using Microsoft Answers!Cody C Microsoft Answers Support Engineer Visit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think.
