How can I find the correct display settings, in order to use my entire screen space?
I am running an AMD Athlon II x4 620 Processor (2.6 GHz), using dual HDMI video cards, (1 runs with 512 MB, the other with 1 GB) The monitors I am using are both Hanns G 24.6'' (HH251). (I do not believe there are any hardware issues.) Using Windows 7 Ultimate. According to the monitor specs, the recommended resolution for the screen is 1920x1080 HDMI. While using the recommended settings, there is roughly a 1 inch blank space around the edge of the screen. I am able to adjust the resolution/screen settings in order to fill the screen, however in order to do that, the resolution has to be reduced to 1680x1050. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fill my entire screen space without compromising my resolution quality?

HiYou did not specify what make and model number of video cards you have installed? If these are ATI video cards, you will need to use the Catalyst software to adjust the configuration. 1. Open the Catalyst Control Center. 2. Use the drop down box at the top to click on Desktops and Displays. 3. At the bottom of the window, click on the little black arrow on the monitor and select Configure. 4. This will bring up the settings for that display. The settings shown will depend on the version of the Catalyst software that is installed. You should see one or more of the following options. Full Screen. Maintain aspect ratio. Scale image to full panel size. Select one of the options and click Apply to see the result. Note: If the options are grayed out, exit and try lowering the display resolution on the monitor. Check the options again.Let us know the results. Thank You for using Windows 7 Ronnie Vernon MVP
