I'm sure I've been hacked and had a problem with remote desktop, that part is taken care of, (I think) I'm just worried about a proxy connection through my router. I know something is going on because I sit and watch the modem talk when I'm not doing anything on the laptop. Malwarebytes doesn't find anything, neither does Superantispyware, but I'm using ESET Smart Security for my Antivirus and firewall and I have had nothing but trouble with them since I installed the software! Can anyone give me some advice? I do not have a "network" so to say. It's just my laptop. I don't know how the box under Windows Firewallgot checked in Internet Connection Sharing to "Allow other network users to control or disable the shared Internet connection." I didn't check this!
