How can I create a pagefile on a large GPT disk or software RAID?

OK, I was hoping Microsoft would get around to fixing this problem, but I guess not.

I just installed Windows 8.1 Preview, and my system drive is only 150 GB, but I have 196 GB of RAM installed, so Windows is less than happy. I would like to set the pagefile on my D: drive which is a 10 TB GPT volume with 64K clusters, but when I try to set that, Windows says "drive D: is too small for the maximum paging file size specified. Please enter a smaller number." According to the Virtual Memory dialog, my D: drive is only 2456752 MB, so clearly this is a bug.

I also have a software RAID 0 volume on 4 flash drives, and while I can create the paging file there, it disappears at boot time, presumably because windows tries to create a pagefile before it has initialized all its dynamic
