How can I change the order of the items in the 'open with' context menu ?
I work on XP Prof. SP3 and want to change the order of the 'open with' context menu.As I like to make the best of my photos I crop them to the optimal detail using a specific program for it. This program I can access by right-clicking on the photo's icon pressing H, to open the 'open with' context menu and then I have to scroll down to the 6th position. You can imagine that if you make this for a serie of hundreds of holiday pictures you are fast fed-up.Is there a way how I can change the sort order in the 'open with' context menu, because deleting all the rest seems to me not a too good idea.Is there anyone out there who can help me? My thanks in advance.Michael 1 person needs an answerI do too

There's another way to do your pics. I use the Paint program to crop pics. Once I crop a pic, I can either do a Save or Save As (renaming the pic). Once finished, since the Paint program is still open, I simply click on File, then Open. A small window will open at that point, and then you can choose the next pic you want to crop.I've done the same with IrfanView...and don't see why what ever program you use shouldn't be similar.Hope this helps!
