How To Retreive My User Account
Hello. I am in dire straits. I need to know how to retreive my user account. I only added a new account under the control panel. I never deleted mine. When I turned on the computer, I couldn't find my user account icon. I only saw the new one. How do I recover this with all of my files?1 person needs an answerI do too

Try to login to account that you create and then go to start and then log off and see if you will see your old account or not.May be you install something that hide admin account in startup.First verify what I said and see if you could see your account or not.

You probably have XP Pro or Media Center and were using the built-in Administrator as your daily account. If this is the case, your system is behaving as designed. When you create an additional administrative user the built-in Administrator is hidden. You can log into it by doing Ctrl-Alt-Del twice at the Welcome Screen to get the classic logon box. Enter "Administrator" without the quotes for the username and whatever password you had assigned. If you didn't assign a password, leave the field blank. To restore the Administrator (presumably your own user account) to the Welcome Screen:Enable Administrator account on Welcome Screen -http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/xp_admin_ok.htmMS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
