How I know my Lync is standard or Enterprise?

Did you ask about DVD or about Lync environment that is installed and configured?

If you want to know about DVD, it is the same DVD for both. You have to purchase correct license. Check with your Microsoft rep which license you have. Or you can do it in the Microsoft Licensing portal.

If you are asking about Lync environment, open topology and check if you have standard or enterprise pool configured.

Hi,

You can also check the Lync Server (Standard or Enterprise Edition) with the Lync Server Control Panel. On Lync Server Control Panel--Topology, you can view the edition of the FE Server.

Hi OSOSOS,

Good day.

For simplicity, I would pressure you're only referring to the Front-End Server/Pool.

Basically a Standard Edition Front-End Server run on a single server without the need of a Back-End Server (SQL Server); an Enterprise Edition would require at least ONE (1) full fletch (not SQL Express) Back-end Server running on SQL Server.

Hope this helps!
