How Do I Export A List Of All Installed Windows Updates That Contains All of the Information In View Update History?

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 With All Patches

I have tried using wmic and powershell as suggested in a number of posts.  None of the outputs include the full information under the Name column in View Update History.  wmic includes the URL for the knowledgebase article instead of the description.

The varies powershell scripts also do not produce the information under Name.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi

Since officially windows has no build-in feature for exporting this kind of report except wmic qfe command. We usually generate a report for installed Hotfix-Update-ServicePack for computer by using scripting, many users uploaded their script to help us to get that goal. I am afraid if these script cannot meet all requirements we need, we might need to create our own script. If you need further help regarding to scripting, Id suggest that we post at scripting forum. There you can get more effective suggestion by other experts who familiar with design of PowerShell and script. Your understanding is highly appreciated.
