Hotmail account alternate address
My hotmail was highjacked and sorted out but the 'jackers' name/email address is still shown as my alternate email address!!?? Unless I can change this i will have to cancel my hotmail account of 13 years, earlier contact with Microsoft online help/abuse dept has not helped in any way so far! If this is not the correct area to deal with this can anybody tell me which is the correct approach?1 person needs an answerI do too

Thank you for this information. However, if the following copy info can be seen, you will note that the alternate email address is that of the 'hacker'. How can I change my details if I have to send 'him'/ my alternate email address the new information? The process requires me to follow the instructions on the alternate email address - but I do not have access to the alternate email address - this the address of the 'hacker' ???
