Hotmail: Someone hacked into my account, I cannot get emails nor contacts anymore (Access Denied)
In July, my friends alerted me to the fact that they had received spam from my hotmail account. I have never given out my password, which was of good strength, and I believe that someone must have used a security hole in Hotmail to gain access to my account. As soon as I learnt about the intrusion, I quickly logged in to my account and changed my password as the first action. The next day, when I was going to log in again to assess the damage, I could no longer log in. I got a message:"Your account has been closed<input id="ctl00_ErrorMessageBody_cLoginError_ReturnUrlInput" name="ctl00$ErrorMessageBody$cLoginError$ReturnUrlInput" type="hidden" value="/default.aspx" />It looks like the Terms of Use may have been violated. To have our support team look into this, please click the support link below."I have sent numerous requests to the support team (the latest is Support ID: SRX1144768354ID, but there are many more) asking for someone to get back to me and help me regaining access to my account, and more importantly to all the contacts and emails I have gathered over 10 years. Unfortunately no one has come back to me, and I am desperate and do not know how to progress the issue. Any help that can be provided would be much appreciated.1 person got this answerI do too
