Homegroup setup did not automatically connect printer
I established a homegroup between two wired PCs. One had a printer that I wanted to share with the other. So I set up the homegroup on the non-printer PC with "share printers" box checked. I went to the printer PC and entered the homegroup password. This PC also had the "share printers" box checked in the homegroup setup. What I got was no printer visible on the non-printer PC. I had to go back to the printer PC, open up the printer's controls, and check the "share this printer" box myself. Then I had to go to the non-printer PC, scan the network for printers, and manually add the printer it could now discover.Itseems to me that if I have one printer in a homegroup, and set up the homegroup with "share printers" checked, the homegroup setup operation should at least automatically share that one printer and ideally also add that printer to other PCs in the homegroup (it should "just work" as they say in the non-windows world).
