Homegroup - Systems can't see desktop box
I have three PCs running Win7, one desktop and two laptops. I thought I'dset up a homegroup on the desktop (since it's always on) and changed the password to one I could easily remember. When I went to laptop #1 and tried to join, it told me that the password was incorret. The second laptop cannot see the desktop either. However, if I start a homegroup on laptop #1 laptop #2 sees it whereas the desktop does not.

Hi,You need to change the password both desktop and laptops and make sure that the other HomeGroup members are online before changing the password. Regarding the current scenario, pleasechange the password on both laptop #1 and laptop #2with the same password on PC.Moreover, check if youturn on theNetwork Discovery and Files and Printers sharing. For references:Why can't I access my homegroup?HomeGroup: frequently asked questionsBest RegardsDale
