Home Group Troubles
I just upgraded my home computer to Windows 7 Premium 64 bit because I purchased a netbook with Windows 7 Starter and really liked it. I am trying to set up the network by creating a Home Group. i have followed all the directions but the Netbook and my laptop will not find the Home Group. When I run the troubleshooter it tells me that it can not synchronize the computer time with the network. I have tried everything possible to make this happen but still no luck. The troubleshooter says that the clock has to be synchronized to allow the Home Group to work correctly. Is there another way I can set these times so i can set up my network so i can retrieve files from my desktop for my netbook and laptops

So are you saying you've set the time the same on both machines? Review these links from Microsoft on setting up homegroup http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/homegroupHomegroup from start to finish http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/help/homegroup-from-start-to-finishYou are aware that your home computer (Win7 64bit) will have to be the one that creates the homegroup as Windows 7 Starter can not create one but can join one.
