HomeGroup/NetworkList connected network
Hi guys,I'm experimenting with the "HomeGroup" feature; well actually with the "Currently connected network". Is there some location that the currently connected network name/guid is stored? Eg. in the registry, or is this something that all application will get on demand from the "Network List Service"?I already found the network profiles in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles registry key, but can't find the currently connected network.Hope somebody can provide me some details about this.

Have you checked the managed and unmanaged entry in this same key and none was found?

Check the interfaceGUI and go through currentcontrolset/services/tcpip/interfaces{}and look for the network list GUI and then you know which one is active..hope this helps,RR

There's no actual setting in the registry that defines which network is active (I can't find it anyway). But my guess is that this feature is based upon the DnsSuffix and Default Gateway MAC address. These are stored in the managed or unmanaged network registry keys. Gateway Mac should be unique in every network :)Thanks for your help!
