Hijacked Browser
I've been running across the fake anti-virus lately which windows seems to be blatantly un-aware of. A good example can be found at silverlakerc.com, then click on 'Campground Map' in the menu list on the left. WARNING! Clicking on the 'Campground Map' link could compromise your computer, please investigate the issue from a VM or other sandboxed environment. Chrome Browser detects the malware, latest versions of IE8 on Win7 and Vista do not- both computers have latest critical updates, up-to-date with MSE. IE8 does not catch the Malware, Firefox 3.6.12 does not catch the malware. Any ideas on addressing this issue for users?

Hi, Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet forums. Based on my researched, IE 8 should detect malware when MSE update. That a possible that the web site you visit don’t contain malware, maybe the chrome browser head off a normal website. I suggest to test more website to check if IE 8 can detect malware.
