High RAM usage.

Hello,

I'm having a problem with high memory/RAM usage on my laptop (ASUS G46VW), even after a restart. It stays at roughly 80% usage (6.5GB/7.9 GB total). Task manager shows no programs using more than a few hundred MB. It's not superfetch because I have that disabled.

I have used RAMMap from sysinternals and it shows something that uses 4GB something or other (I have the .RAM file uploaded to skydrive and dropbox incase one doesn't work for you). There's something in the physical ranges that uses up 5GB, but I'm not entirely sure how to locate that file/process.

Lemme know if you need any other info.

Hello PigsGoMoo,

Do you mean that just after a reboot, 80% RAM is used?

Please refer to the following KB to perform a clean boot in Windows.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135
If the issue doesnt occur in the clean boot, it is related to third-parity software, please check.

From the .RMP folder, please take a look at the following screenshot.

Please check the top two program.

Best regards,
