Hidden CPU Hog
Windows XP SP3 With All PatchesAMD Dual CoreSomething is eating 50% of the CPU.I have checked Show process from all users in Task ManagerApplications shows the instance of the IE 8 browser I am using to post this and nothing else.Processes shows System Idle at 97-99% with nothing else shown as using more than a perent or two.Performance shows the CPU at 47-54% most of it on the second core.Networking shows 0% Network Utilitization.How do I find the CPU hog?1 person needs an answerI do too

Process Expolorer shows roughly 30% of the total CPU (two cors) going to Hardware Interrupts and 20% going to Deferred Procedure calls.When I expand the Interrupts it shows lots of CPU but no I/O. The same is true of DPCs properties.So how do I find out what is doing this?
