I have Windows Xp. When i try Hibernate, the screen goes to saying "Preparing to hibernate" but instead of shutting off, it goes straight back to whatever i had open before, and nothing else happens.Shut down, and standby still work alright, it's just that it wont hibernate any more.I tried disabling Hibernation in Power Options, restarting it, and the re-enabling Hibernation.I also tried System Restore to a date when i could hibernate it. Neither method worked.4 people need an answerI do too
