Hibernate
Hibernate does not show in the show up in the shut down menus. Upgrade install of Windows 7 RC. Is there a way to add this to the menu. Hibernate is active and sleep does work. Can get computer to hibernate by setting power options to hibernate when lid is closed.

In the Search Programs and Files box, type in Hibernate. Then click on Change what the power buttons do and make your desired changes.Carey Frisch

not the problem I have. Hibernate does show on the Start shutdown/logoff/etc menu. Closing the lid will allow hibernation.

rerader, Did you ever find this? You only get the hibernate option if you disable 'Hybrid Sleep' in the advanced power settings.
