Hi my ancient 6 gig C/drive is full to bursting but i've a copy on my empty 40 gig E/drive. how do I boot up from E/drive without resorting to purchase of new(er) P.C Help please!!!! Andy

A copy of what? Windows from another computer? It is unlikely that this will work. If this is the case you can clone your 6GB drive to the 40GB drive. Then shut down and replace the 6GB drive with the 40GB drive and Windows will boot. You can usually get free cloning software from the hard drive mftr.'s website.
