Help with connecting homegroup
Hello,I have 2 pc's setup with homegroup, and I setup one to host my homegroup. My 2nd one to connect to my main group can see the homegroup and when I try to connect, it asks for the password. I enter in the password of the password on my main machine hosting the homegroup and when it tries to connect it just times out. No errors or anything. Any ideas on how to connect up the 2 pcs?-Noop

i'd start first by turning off the password option.

Open explorer, right click on Network, chose properties, then click on chose home group and sharing options, then at bottom chose 'Change advanced sharing settings' then turn on Public sharing not just homegroup sharing. Give this a shot. It help some others ina different forum. Cheers.
