Help please
Guys, I am so fed up with this. I love the OS, don't want to go back to Vista, but this ONE problem is eventually going to make me. Help me fix it please. Websites with Flash video (YouTube mainly) or other flash features, even Google Maps causes my connection to drop. During the download of these videos, my network connection goes "limited connectivity" Simply, connection just drops. Troubleshoot doesn't find any problems, and the only way to fix it is to enable and disable the network adapter only to drop the connection again. The way I can only watch YouTube videos are to pause the video immediately, wait until it buffered the whole thing and then watch it. If it is HQ or HD, forget that too. Is there anyway to fix this??? If I don't go to flash sites, internet works fine.

I haven't had any problems with flash sites, I checked my flash versions and is currently Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX v10.0.12.36what version are you currently running? if its older the version 10 it may be the problem. Also go here and let me know if the page displays the flash content.http://www.nvidia.com/page/home.htmlGlenn M. Keawe

Hi, I suggest that you try the following steps. 1. Temporary disable anti-virus and firewall. 2. Upgrade the network adapter driver. 3. Reset IE settings. 1). Click Start, please type inetcpl.cpl (without quotation marks) in the Start Search bar and press Enter to open the Internet options window.2). Switch to the Advanced tab.3). Click the "Reset Internet Explorer Settings" button.4). Click Reset to confirm the operation.5). Click Close when the resetting process has finished.6). Uncheck the "Enable third-party browser extensions" option in the Settings box.7). Click Apply, click OK. If the issue persists, please let us know if your network is wired or wireless. Hi, What is your anti-virus? Have you reinstalled the network adapter driver? It is recommended that remove the existed driver before you reinstall the driver. 1. Click Start, in the Start Search box enter devmgmt.msc. 2. Expand the branch Network Adapters 3. Double-click on the entry of the wired connection, click the driver tab. 4. Click Uninstall. 5. Click Start, in the Start Search box enter appwiz.cpl. 6. If any entries related to the wired adapter, remove them. 7. Restart. Then download the latest driver and install. Have you reinstalled the Adobe Flash Player? This issue can occur if the player is corrupt. If the issue persists I suggest that you remove it from Control Panel\Program and Features. Then access the following website to reinstall Adobe flash player. Adobe Flash PlayerArthur Xie - MSFT
