Help me please....
I have a Toshiba Satellite L355-S7835 and I upgraded to Windows 7. For some reason I can not start my built-in webcam. It says that it is active and running properly. What do I do to start my webcam?

That would be aquestion for Toshiba, the question I have for you is did YOU upgrade the OS by just doing it or did you follow the Toshiba method / helper to upgrade.http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=2190171&rpn=PSLB8U&modelFilter=L355-S7835&selCategory=3&selFamily=1073768663#

My first thought is driver issue. I had a similar experience with a brand new HP laptop and integrated microphone. Try to update the webcam driver.

Please find the webcam driver for Windows 7 from Toshiba. If the driver is not available, you can install earlier driver version in the Compatibility Mode and see if the issue can be resolved.
