Help - no connectivity at all!!!
I cannot connect to my network or the internet withwireless or wired. I have an HP Pavillion tx1000 laptop that came with Vista. i have tried everything on the blogs. It identifies my network as Unidentified, shows signal strength and everything. The best I get is "limited connectivity". I did the 7 upgrade.Everything worked fine this morning.

Try and download the latest Vista 32-bits/64-bits drivers for your network adapter from the HP site. Run the installer in Vista compatibility mode and as an administrator. Right mouse click on the executable -> Properties -> Compatibility (tab) -> Check both 'Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows Vista' and 'Run this program as an administrator'.

I have the same problem with the 64 bit version, but the 32 bit works great. Yes I am dual booting. I have run the repair wizard to no avail. I believe it is a security certificate problem but can not determine where this option is located at. In Vista and XP I would go into the network connector properties and select security tab then disable cert. required option, or something like that. I can browse my local network, at least find my daughters Vista laptop but not my WHS or my other daughters XP desktop or my wifes XP laptop when she has it powered up. I have the latest drivers installed per Win7. Any suggestions?
