Hi I just did an upgrade install of Vista RC1 build 5600 My computer is an old Dell Dimension 4300 (with more memory & better graphics card installed) I use a Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter PC card, (Installed in 2005) and it seems to work ok - it uses Microsoft driver 4.82.28.54 which was installed/updated automatically Upgrade advisier said that it would work ok hope this helps regards John

Hello, I checked the chipset and it's recognize as a Marvell Libertas 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Client Adapter. The driver come from Microsft 21.06.2006 version 1.0.0.39. It works well with Vista 5600.

Hi, Thank's to everyone who responded. I bought 3 different network cards and found that they worked/didn't work just like the one built into my laptop. They all worked fine for most wireless access points but at my work they use hidden SSID, open, WEP and while I tried many, many permutations of h/w and configurations it just won't work with Vista RC1 (works fine with XP). Hopefully it will be fixed in the next Vista release (noticed on the forums that others are having similar problems). Thank you, Brent
