Help, cannot start laptop getting bsod
My computer had frozen after restart twice when launching Chrome so I had to do a power button shutdown and after the second time I cannot start my computer and get the BSOD. It says something about a driver has overrun a stack-based buffer. The technical information code is STOP: 0x000000F7 (0xFF97F8E300FB8385, 0x0000F88001E4715A, 0xFFFF077FFE1B8EA5, 0x0000000000000000) I have downloaded and ran windows defender offline with no problems found. Tried all boot mood options without any luck. Disk partion is junk and does not work no backup disk either (kept stopping when trying to make them). Repair renders nothing and it says I have no previous restores. Need help please!

Hi, 1. Try roll back the drivers which are recently installed. 2. Run diagnostic tool from BIOS if you have so. 3. Most important thing is take the backup up of your data, Coz it might be a warning BSOD for HDD crash. Regards Rakesh Alli

Hi I agree to Rakesh . Try to roll back the driver and Run the BIOS diagnostic Tool if you have. Try safe mode as well if it works restore the system to an earilier point . Thanks & Best Regards Ankit Tyagi

Hi Swillia If it does not work use the windows repair option to fix this . restart your computer and keep pressing F8 key on the keyboard you will see the option "Repair your Computer" which by default selected press the enter key . you will see "System Recovery Option" you need to click on Next after clicking on Next you will be prompted to enter the password you need to enter Admin's password and press enter now you will get five options you need to chose "command Prompt" now you will be able to see command prompt now you need to enter some commands which I am gonna tell you . 1. bootrec /fixboot (Enter) 2.bootrec /fixmbr (Enter) 3.bootrec /scanos and enter this will take a while 4.bootrec /rebuildbcd and enter. the error you are getting the stop error actucally, occuers when you install and peace of hardware or software which is compatible or it may be a virus . you can check the hard disk and memory of your computer. I mentioned all the commands for you use all of them hopefully you will get the solution of this issue. Thanks & Best Regards Ankit Tyagi

Nothing. Says it doesn't see any windows installations, which I know is wrong. Still blue screen. Can't boot into safe mode or any mode for that matter other than system repair and the stop restart on fail option. My BIOS screen does NOT have options for diagnostics.Sean
