Help! I need a System Health Report Script
In Windows 7 you can generate a System health Report by going to Start and typing "perfmon /report" and it generates a great report on the health of your system. I would like to create a script that will enable me to run this script on a PC and save the report and email it to me once a week. I can run Perfmon /report from a command line, but I can't figure out how to make it automatically save the resulting report to a file. I have the running of the program down, and I have the emailing of the file down, so I guess all I really need help with is how to run this report and have it save the resulting report. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank You, Mark Williams

Hi Mark, Thanks for the post! You can use the PowerShell command and the Task Scheduler to do that. Refer to: Creating a System Health Report: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee221012(WS.10).aspx Schedule a task: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc748993.aspx And for Script questions, you can ask in Script Forum. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/ITCG/threads/ Regards, Miya This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. | Please remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you, and to click "Unmark as Answer" if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
