Having problems with Windows XP
We had to reset everything on our computer. Now I can't get on because I don't remember the username or password for WindowsXP. How do I retrieve the information so I can make sure everything is working? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.2 people need an answerI do too

Start the computer in Safe mode and log into the built-in account named Administrator . You'll have to know the password, if any, for that account. Once in, go to Control Panel > User Accounts and change the password for your regular account. Then, restart the computer and log into your regular account with the new password. If the computer has a floppy disk drive, you can make a password reset diskBoulder Computer MavenMicrosoft Most Valuable Professional
