I am attempting to connect to mysql db on godaddy server using IIS7 on Vista Home Premium 64 laptop. I have been unsuccessful to date. Has anyone else experienced similar problems using Home Premium? (I heard a rumor that Home Premium does not interface well with IIS7 and someone suggested upgrading to Vista Ultimate - however I can't locate link or info to upgrade to Ultimate as everything appears to want to upgrade to Windows7 and I don't want to reconfigure settings or try untested platform with existing connections). The third party program I am attempting to use/access server db (Xspouse.com) has 2 step database integration/configuration PDF file on their website, but of course, I can't make the 2 simple steps work. Thanks for any suggestions.
