Having Issue's turning on firewall
Hello I've been checking all over the internet and I've also had a lot of people helping me with this but no one seems to know how to help me so i hope you guys can. What happening is that when i go into my Windows Firewall With Advanced Security there's this box and it says "There was an error opening the windows firewall with Advanced Security snap-in" And then under that there is "The windows firewall with Advanced security snap-in failed to load. Restart the windows Firewall service on the computer that are are managing. Error code: 0x6D9." And i am running this as Administrator and also I've been trying to update my computer but it keeps failing and everything is just failing and i'm also having troubles port forwarding and things but this firewall stuff i am most focused on. Please help.. Thanks BBGun007

Hi, Have you made any recent changes on the computer? Do you have other security program installed? 1. Using anti-virus program to scan the system. 2. Refer the below link and run the fixit tool available and check if it works. Diagnose and fix Windows Firewall service problems automatically http://support.microsoft.com/gp/windows_firewall_diagnostic 3. Check out the methods in this link and see how it works. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-security/error-code-0x80070422-cant-turn-on-firewall/e5ee6823-98f8-4575-a254-00a038b17e34Tracy Cai TechNet Community Support
