Have Security 2010 popping up saying computer is infected with virus.  Bought Windows XP Security so my computer should be protected.  Icon also on my task bar for this false system
I paid for Windows XP Security for computer, now have a Icon on taskbar for Security 2010 which says my computer is infected. Although nothing has changed on com and am still able to use it, it keeps popping up Security alert, download now, etc. and I can't get rid of the icon on taskbar and when I try system restore, it says file has been infected. That's the only program that it says that on. So since I bought XP Security, can you tell me how to get rid of the popping up virus alert and also the icon for this stupid Security 2010 on my taskbar>>>1 person needs an answerI do too

If you can download this program and update it and run it.If the bug won't let you try starting in safemode with networking and download it from the internet and run it.That is a virus you've got.My father-in-law had it.It can be removed. The second program is a good one too but it takes longer to run. http://www.malwarebytes.org/ http://download.cnet.com/Spybot-Search-amp-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.html
