Hardware Identification - 3 unknown devices in Device Manager without vendor and device name
Hi Guys, I've recently encountered a problem with unknown devices in devmgmt.msc. When I check the properties/details of an unknown device to identify its vendor and device name  http://pcidatabase.com I can't figure it out and only get  the following information: the path to a device ROOT\ISCSIPRT\0000 , device IDs ROOT\ISCSIPRT. I'm totally unaware of what the devices may be - all installed devices seeem to be working fine - except ASUS console, Splendind, MAxx Audio etc. These I believe are not devices simply softwre include . My System: WIndows: 8.1., LAptop: Asus N750JK. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

ISCSIPRT= iSCSI +port (PRT).  Do you have a scsi drive, or other device?  Are you getting event viewer ID 5, 17, 0r other errors?

Hi English 4 Matura,

We can right click these unknown device and choose "Update driver" to have a check. Or uninstall them completely then choose "Scan for hardware changes" from the "Action" tab.
It is recommended to download the drivers from the ASUS website for the devices.
