Hard Drives no loger recognized on My Computer
Recently had W7 Pro installed by a professional "GEEK" shop. Everything worked well for awhile. Loaded my entire Adobe Creative Suite Production Studio. Went away for awhile. Then tried to load my Blackberry Desktop Manager. To my surprise, neither of my two hard drives showed up on "my Computer". It is as they never existed. Now I cannot load anything, read anything, or use either drive in any way. I know there is something about a "High and Low", something, which may be the fix. This issue is as easy to fix as knowing exactly where to go to DL the correct fix from MS. I just don't know where that place is. Really frustrated right now.

Hi, Have you tested the two hard drives on other machines? Have you checked your hard drives in the Disk manager? If not, please click start, and input “Diskmgmt.msc” in the Start search bar, then press Enter. Now, you will see all available hard drives and partitions. If they don’t show up in Disk manager either, you’d better do system restore before installing the Adobe Creative Suite Production Studio. If they appear in Disk manager, please collect a screenshot, then we will help you according to the detail symptoms. Good luck! John

Hi Aarius, Please perform the following steps to assign driver letters to check the result: 1. Click Start, type diskmgmt.msc in to the Search box and then press Enter. 2. Please check if the drive appears here. If so, please assign a drive letter to this drive. To do so: a. Right-click the drive, and then click Change Drive Letter and Paths b. Click Add. c. Click Assign the following drive letter if it is not already selected, and then either accept the default drive letter or click the drive letter that you want to use. d. Click OK. 3. Please restart the computer and check the issue. What is the result? Regards, Linda
