Hamachi and Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) with Windows 7 Problems
I am trying to RDC to four Win7 (Home Premium) computers from a remote site (using a Win 7 Ultimate or Mac). Hamachi2 has been successfully installed on all of the clients and I get good addresses on the remote Win7 and Mac Hamachi clients. However when I try to RDC into the remote client, the connection just times out if I use x.x.x.x or gives errors if I use x.x.x.x\bob. Remote access is checked on all of the clients. I have seen a few partial solutions online but nothing clear or concise. Help would be appreciated and further information is available if needed.David

Hi, Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum. Please try to temporarily disable firewall to check how it works: 1. Type Windows Firewall in start search box; click Windows Firewall under Control Panel. 2. Click on the "Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall" on left panel. 3. Scroll down through the programs until you come to "LogMeIn Hamachi" and check the box. Also check if the target computer can be connected by the computer which is on the same network via RDC. Meanwhile, due to this is related to third party software, it is also recommended to contact software manufacturer for further help, since they are more familiar with their product: Hamachi2 - LogMeIn Support Hope it helps.
