HTTP Error
Recently, my desktop has recieved a rogue antispyware via internet. It hijacked the computer recognizing any .exe as a virus and only allowing IE to run, yet saying any website is filled with security problems. I removed it and no longer does it bug me to purchase it.The problem I now encounter is that when accessing the internet, it says that it cannot let me connect. The other 2 computers, one desktop and one laptop, can connect fine to the router, the former via ethernet and the latter wirelessly. It says that I cannot connect from an HTTP error despite it having a connection to the router. Is there any way to correct this? Is there a part of the rouge program that still might exist on the system? What might be the problem?1 person needs an answerI do too

Oh, never mind this question. I found the solution to it. There was a thing to do during the removal of the virus where I was to check off to use a proxy server in the LAN settings. Once removed, I never unchecked it again. Man have I had trouble.
