I recently repaired this laptop after some severe virus issues and ended up reinstalling windows. I took it to my new house and when we set up the internet and new Linksys E1000 router, it cannot connect to the internet through the network. All I get is local access and the computer telling me it's identifying the network. This is the only network it's done it on and I have no problems getting internet using any of my other devices. Also I can get internet when I hardwire it into the router using an ethernet cable. If there is anyone who can help, I'd appreciate it.

I tried this and it still does not work. The computer tells me it's attempting to identify the network and gives me local access only.
