doesnt print from microsoft office 2013 as wel as word pad.

Try printing from there to XPS Document Writer.  In W8.1 the default output format is .oxps.  See if you can open that and print it on your Deskjet?  If that works another option may be getting a driver which supports .oxps directly.  However, I haven't noticed printer manufacturers flocking to support that concept.  Some of them support .xps directly, so I suppose you had better also try seeing if you can "print" to .xps and then print that.    <eg>

Good luck

I tried through XPS document writer. But it doesnt work. Please help me as my all work is with ms word and excel. There is one more thing interesting. If I take print from word or excel template, printer works fine. HP has denied to provide support with a view that the problem is with Microsoft windows. Please help me.

I tried through XPS document writer. But it doesnt work.

Then that lets HP off the hook.  Usually the finger pointing happens when XPS works but printing it doesn't.

Have you tried the other workarounds involving reducing security, e.g. put the problem site into Trusted sites zone which then set Protected Mode off.  Most extreme option on that tack is elevating the iexplore.exe task while printing, since that both sets Protected Mode off and allows the task to be run with administrator authority.

Now I found one more thing when i use Mangal Font printer prints fine but when i change some other english font printer doesnt work. Yes, when i convert my document to .xps the printer works fine. But I have to edit and reconstruct office file and it would be more complicated to convert my word and excel files to .xps files. please help me to resolve this issue.

when i convert my document to .xps the printer works fine.

But you can't print the document to XPS Document Writer?  BTW did you try making sure that you were creating an .xps file that way?  E.g. in W8.1 the default is now supposedly .oxps.

I think there is some communication gap between you and me Mr Robert Aldwinckle. Actually  when I am taking print from microsoft office, powerpoint and xcel 2013, printer doesnt work neither through usb cable nor by using wifi network. when I take print from Notpad printer works fine. one more thing when I change font to Mangal, the printer works fine.  Now it is not taking print from PDF file also. From a mobile device  E Print facility printer is working fine. But I usually works with ms word and office. The printer is working fine with windows 7. HP service center is telling that the problem is not from HP side but it is from Microsoft windows 8.1. Please help me.

HP service center is telling that the problem is not from HP side but it is from Microsoft windows 8.1.

Do they like the driver that it is using?  Usually it is their driver but quite old.  E.g. they probably didn't try to provide one specifically for W8.1 but it is their responsibility to do so; otherwise they are in effect saying that they do not support W8.1 with that device.

Notice that your printer does not appear in this list?

HP Printers - Supported HP Printers for Windows 8

And that is W8.  Who knows what all they stopped supporting for W8.1?
