My HP 3050 worked fine with XP. Now that i have a computer with Windows 7, the scanner will not work. I called HP, and they do not have a fix, and their Windows 7 computer with HP 3050 scanner works the same way. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Donaldparis, After researching from the HP website, I realize that they do not release the HP LaserJet 3050 All-in-One Printer driver for Windows 7. It means that you will install the Windows 7 built-in basic driver and use the basic features. Install driver under compatibility mode & Administrator level ================================== 1.Right click on the exe file for driver and click Properties. 2.Click on the Compatibility tab. 3.Select “Run this program in compatibility mode for.” 4.Choose Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) from the drop down list. 5.Select “Run this program as an administrator” option under the Privilege Level topic. 6.Click Apply, click OK. 7.
