HP470 to Vostro 1500 wirelessly Why won't it work

Hi,· What happens when you try to print from the printer, do you get any error message? If yes, what is the exact error message?· Was the printer working fine before on the system? Since when are you facing this issue?· Do you remember making any changes to the system?· Does the printer work properly when it connected to the system via a wired connection?· Is the printer able to print a test page? I would suggest you to connect the printer via a wired connection and check whether you are able to print or not. I would suggest you to check whether the drivers are install for the Network adapter as well as the printer on the system or not.Download printer driver from the link mentioned below.http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html I would suggest you to uninstall the printer from the system and reinstall it again on the system and check whether the issue is resolved.Advanced troubleshooting for when you cannot print in Windows XPhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/314085 Thank you and Regards. The error code is 871122 Can't remember exactly what it said but I went through the wizard and get to the end then Wha La the error. I have downloaded a new driver from Microsoft... I am on auto update for HP so will check that to be sure... Printer works great wired!! Thanks,Ken

Hi, I would suggest you to check whether the Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC) service is set to automatic in the Services.msc. Follow the steps mentioned below.a. Click Start, click Run, type %SystemRoot%\system32\services.msc /s, and then click OK.b. Double-click Wireless Zero Configuration.c. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.d. In the Service status area, click Start, and then click OK.
