HIGH CPU USAGE
Windows modules installer worker is clocking up about 50% of my cpu usage and 99% of disk usage. highly unlikely it is a hardware issue because it is a 3 month old home made computer with high range RAM, Motherboard, harddrive etc. windows 8 updater is
also unable to install the latest updates and im very unsure of why. has been a week of me tinkering and unable to find solution, any help would be greatly appreciated. if anyone has any questions please ask.

Hi,
Have you tried that solution Acreed02 referenced
Just end the high usage process and like ZigZag instruction, run Windows Performance toolkit to trace the log for analysis.
Alternative, Perform a Clean boot to see if CPU usage is normal.
