Ok the first thing i noticed was my computer kept freezing, someone told me it's because I have a virus. I do NOT know the name of it, if this is the case...I started my command prompt to see if I noticed anything suspicious on my C drive, nothing looked strange except all of the .ntuser files listed because i honestly didn't know much about what files are suspicious or not. I didn't see any suspicious .exe files or autorun.inf files or anything, but on my files on my computer there are autorun.ini...it's my understand this isn't necessarily bad...Anyway, I found no virus. I immediately installed Norton 360, but I already had Macafee and Microsoft Security Essentials on my laptop. Of course Norton needed to be ran by itself so I actually ended up removing the other two from my computer and I'm left with Norton ALONE. It does not run the full scan or it's taking FOREVER to do it, I'm not sure which. I ran it for HOURS the other day and came back home and it was still at the same spot. I can't tell if it's freezing or if it REALLY takes that long! So, i keep turning off my laptop and cutting it back on. No updates were installing for about a week or so, but I eventually got one to install yesterday after I got error codes 66a and another which I forget. 66a did not install and repair is not working or it too is taking REALLy long to do it because again eventually it just freezes. I tried to uninstall frameworks 4 and reinstall, it did not work. I tried to run the repair first, it did not work. At first I had about 7 updates that were not installing, then yesterday there were only those two that I mentioned above. I have no clue what is going on with my laptop. Also, yesterday I went to my device manager and had 2 code10 messages under my network adaptors (isatap {BD9894F9- 4B24-4E66-90A8-B32C1848C31A} and 6to4 Adaptor saying "the device cannot start." Also when I first tried to install norton and run it, my computer would get the blue screen of death. Now, it's to the point where I can't even login to my regular account, I have to go in SafeMode with network support. I can't run windows updates in safe mode. I'm using windows vista with service pack 2. HELP ME SOMEBODY. I have NO CLUE. I'm an online student so this is just not acceptable. Went to safe mode this morning and it is still in programs and features, but Won't run repair. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
