HELP - Cannot create a virtual network in Windows 7
I have 2 virtual machines one running windows xp the other windows 2003 server. I am trying to create a virtual network with windows 7 ultimate but it is not recognizing the 2 virtual machines, when I go to set up the network. I have both VM's up and running but no luck.

Make sure you set the Vm nic to bridged and not NAT (they need to be on the same network as the host)access via IP address and not the name.

What is the exact thing you are trying to do, connect the Windows 7 (host) and Windows XP to Windows 2003 (as a server), or just connect the 3 systems as a network? The Windows 7 system is stand-alone or it is in a network (or domain)?Try change the Adapter to hysical onboth virtual machines as Bubbapcguy mentioned as test again.

Shaon - I have a stand alone machine. I have a linksys wireless router. I changed the VM adapter from NAT to bridged the "bridge" selection is the router. I selected the linksys router adaptor

you mean you select a linksys network card installin your PC You can not select the router it is not installed on the PC.You bridge so that the VM's both get IP's from your router so they are on the same network as the host PC (win 7)

Bubbapcguy,I'm not sure what you mean. I'm trying to get the virtual machines recognized on the network how do I do this? I do not have a "bridge" option.

Have you do these steps?open Windows Virtual PC settings of the Windows XP and the Windows 2003, go to Networking, change it to the physical network card (not internal or NAT)
