HELP! I can't get Outlook Express to work with GoDaddy mail.
I can't configure Outlook express 6.0 to handle GoDaddy Mail Account. I have tried all the recommended settings for POP and SMTP, and the box is checked as recommended. I have deleted and reloaded, opened router ports, and tried everything I can think of, and still get the following error:Unable to logon to the server using Secure Password Authentication. Account: 'Go Daddy', Server: 'pop.secureserver.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR authorization first', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18I verified my account information and password, so that can't be it. Please Help!1 person needs an answerI do too

HiSome ISPs block the SMTP port 25 if the account is Not their own email account and it did not originated from a computer connected to the Internet at the user's original locationIn other words, POP3 on Windows Mail, Outlook, or any other None Web Mail application would receive mail from any account, it will send onl y if the users have a mail account with the ISP and the email his sent from the ISP's email account. It is one of the measures to avoid 3rd party spammers using other people accounts in order to Spam.Check for your ISP's policies.
