HDMI/MiniDisplay/Polycom CX5500 roundtable/Lync client audio interoperability
Hi,

When using Lync client for online meeting, we encountered audio input & output to the roundtable being muted by the HDMI connections.
This occurs when the HDMI are connected later than the USB to the roundtable, as when the HDMI cable are connected, the audio connections to the roundtable are being taken over by HDMI audio connections.
We thought about converting all screen presentations to VGA only but the challenge is the newer laptop fleet has no VGA connections. Also we have some ideas of putting up instructions to guide the user to always connect the HDMI first before the roundtable but that would be the last resort if we can't find a better solutions.
Anyone has a better suggestions? Thanks in advance for any input.

Hi,

Please try to reset the Polycom and then test the issue again.

Also make sure Polycom update to the latest firmware.
