Group conversation missing first message

Environment:

OS = Windows server 2008 R2

Lync server 2010 standard edition

Lync client 2010

We have deployed Lync server 2010 standard edition in our environment. We are facing some issues in group conversations. We have around 250 users and it happens very frequently that one of the user has to broadcast a message/information to all the users in company. The issue is that, some of the users see a blank conversation window after joining the group conversation, these users cannot see the first message of the group conversation.

I found a link describing the technical reason behind this issue : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2736787/en-us

But the work around they provided didn't worked for me.

Any guidance will be highly appreciated.

The workaround is just used to make more participants to receive the IM. It may not have very significant effect.

Please try to update your Lync Server 2010 to the latest version.

Thanks Lisa.zheng.

Do mean to say that I update my Lync server 2010 to Lync server 2013 ?

Or you mean to apply latest patches on Lync server 2010 and Lync server 2010 client?

I have already applied the patch as mentioned in the following link:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=11551

but no resolution.

Please suggest something

I dont think there is a solution currently to solve this problem as it is by design.
