Group Policy editor missing from XP Home Edition
I am running XP Home Edition and want to use Group Policy Editor to regulate how some users access the internet by restricting their ability to change settings once I have set them. There seems to be no Group Policy editor in this version of XP. How can I accomplish the same things without Group Policy editor?1 person needs an answerI do too

XP Home doesn't have the Group Policy Editor. You can set restrictions in XP Home with either Doug Knox's Security Console or Microsoft's SteadyState. http://www.dougknox.com http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/sharedaccess/default.mspx More on SteadyState - http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?t=27570 SteadyState support - http://social.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/windowssteadystate/threads/ SteadyState how-to (not supported in Windows 7 yet) - http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/6520/windows-steadystate/MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
